Although it was just a spritz, the 0.01" of rain that fell this afternoon was the first measurable rain on this date in 15 years.
2008 (Tuesday)
For the second day in a row the high hit 96°, a record for the date. This was the last day of a four-day heat wave. (The next time there would be a heat wave of this length in June would be in 2021, June 6-9).
